The game was published on all platforms by Electronic Arts, and released worldwide in November 2004. The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey. A masterful, moving novel about age, memory, and family from one of the true literary icons of our time. Ptolemy Grey is ninety-one years old and has been all but forgotten-by his family, his friends, even himself-as he sinks into a lonely dementia. The Last Days of the Third Age is a module for the original Mount&Blade —and later ported to Warband— set in the fantasy world of author J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle-earth, the setting of The Lord of the Rings novels. The mod lets the player participate as a soldier on either side of the War of the. The Last Days of Summer is an epistolary novel written by Steve Kluger and published in 1998. The novel offers a view into the life of Joey Margolis, an articulate, resourceful, tender-hearted young Jewish baseball fan who resides in Brooklyn, New York during the 1940s. The Last Days of the Third Age is a module for the original Mount&Blade —and later ported to Warband— set in the fantasy world of author J.R.R. The Last Days of the Third Age 3.5 for M&B 1.011 (V2017.10.06.r2406). ![]() Tryed it as the HE.The mod is quite pretty! Environement is good looking and well done.Combat is nice, i especialy loved wargs and their way of fighting x)Quests are fine, but VERY very repetitive. //Sometimes a bit hard (which is good). But the unit designs. The Last Days Of The Third Age Companions 2017The movies' White Tower's entrance protected by two. Two?Two dunno what mariomustache men. Damn.Or lothlorien warden looking a kinda chinese armored. Undescriptibly ugly elven shields.Even if the movie design style is loreraping (often) - all the units of a single civ follow the samedesign line (which is looking buildingstyle compatible, i mean a gondorian soldier looks fine on aMinas Tirith wall, imagin a Lorien Heavy armored dude (from the HelmsDeep for exemple) with some forest on background - it's ok)ArhhAnyone wants to submod??? ^^ Use the movie style design? I'm sure it could be popular! Even withthe TATW models xdVery good mod) Just the units' design is not the one i love to see.Try it out! Wait TATW 3.0!PS: Cutscenes are great! Don't nail me down on this, but afair there are no Uruks with pikes. Neither do they wear plate armor or crossbows. The mod went after the books, where the movies contradict lore, and have only taken some visual inspiration from the movies.I prefer it this way.As for tactics. Well I haven't played for long, but I found (surprise!) Elven archers to be very effective against all kinds of orcs. Not bad in melee either.Edit: OK browsing the troops.txt revealed that there are Uruk-Hai pike-men. ![]() My bad (about plate and crossbows I was correct at least.phew.). Sadly my editor is incapable of showing the units stats or equipment. But I guess they are OK if massed. Uruk-Hai/Uruks in general are quite capable fighters in this mod.Edit 2: Cheated up a character. They (top tier Pike-Uruks) are good. 170 weapon skill, 15 strength and 5/5 Power Strike/Ironflesh.Armor is good for orcs (mail with some plating). The pikes are not actual pikes, though, put normal spears and halberd-type polearms.Against infantry they lack the killing power the other Uruk-Hai have. But I think they will do fine against cavalry. And when u can put them in formation, that several polearms stack together, they should be very solid against infantry as well. It looks good, but I hate the armour design of virtually everyone. They should just have gone with the Movies and the designs of Alan Lee and John Howe.Oh before we get those arrogant and unpleasant fanboys screaming 'There was no plate in Middle earth!' It would have enhanced gameplay, restricting yourself to mail is pretty stupid from a game creator perspective. It would have added more atmosphere as 90% of those who play the game have their mental image of what things should look like derived from the films. Going against that its just plain going against the stream on purpose and takes away a lot of fun and immersion for people that are not puritan nutjobs. The design of the movies are far better than what these mod people have come up with. I’ve heard Alan Lee talking about LOTR and his art live and the guy knows both his lore and his Tolkien designs besides being an absolutely fantastic artist.sigh.
